The Railhead Switchman's Stick is three lights in one pocket-sized stick: a signal light, a flashlight, and a work light. A crew member on the ground often needs more than one light at once — a beam to see the work, a wide flood to light the area or the jobsite, and a signal to be seen and understood — and carrying them separately means more to lose and a hand tied up when it should be free. The Switchman's Stick puts all three in one hand. A side-mounted floodlight throws 238 lumens of wide area light across 82 ft as a work light, an end-mounted flashlight puts a 200-lumen spot out to 190 ft, and the signal light gives hand signals and protection a color the whole crew recognizes. Signal light is available in red (RH-SSR-200), blue (RH-SSB-200) or clear (RH-SSC-200). The impact-resistant, hi-viz body is IP67 dust-tight and submersible and drop-tested to 6.6 ft (2 m). It delivers up to 20 hours of continuous run time on the flashlight and 6.5 hours on the floodlight. Two strong integrated magnets lock it to a car body, truck, or signal at any angle to free both hands. An attached wrist lanyard keeps it close; all versions include a belt clip. Runs on (4) AAA alkaline batteries (not included).
