Contact Us For More InformationThe LDVRHD System is the next generation LDVR from Railhead and the industry’s most advanced LDVR system to date. The system offering can support up to 12 IP A/V channels to connect to our industry inclusive auto detect and configure IP cameras with up to 1080p HD resolution. Railhead has designed the LDVRHD to support multiple storage options ranging from 256GB to 2TB solid state drive technology. To guarantee that the critical data stored is available when you need it, the LDVRHD has an option to protect the data by utilizing Redundant Array of Independent Disks (R.A.I.D.) configurations and an available Crash Hardened Memory Module. Retrieving the data is simple, using the RSM software (backwards compatible with current solution).
Railhead Systems specializes in a proprietary Twin View Camera. The Twin View camera is two cameras in one. The Narrow field of view camera is designed to have a long-range view for capturing signal colors and engineers view down the tracks. The Wide field of view camera is designed to capture crossing, crossing gates, platforms, and other activity close to the locomotive.
Railhead was the first in the North American Market to record audio and video in the cab of the locomotive. Our Low Profile Inward Facing Cameras are a leader in the market for capturing in cab activities in both day and night settings. Whether you want to capture the face of the engineer or clearly capture the control stand, our team will work with you to optimize resolution and frame rates. These cameras are designed to hold up to the rugged rail environment in both the cab and passenger compartments of rail equipment.
Railhead 360 Degree camera delivers the highest quality video and a wider field of view, maximizing coverage, eliminating blind spots and reduces installation times. The 360 cameras are a leader in the market for capturing in cab activities in both day and night settings. Whether you want to capture the face of the engineer, the control stand, or the entire cab interior our team will work with you to optimize resolution and frame rates. These cameras are designed to hold up to the rugged rail environment in both the cab and passenger compartments of rail equipment.
The FWT combines back office software and on train equipment to alert a deviation from normal procedures on any data channel. Data channels are received from onboard hardware such as event recorders, fuel systems, engine controllers. These channels are recorded in real time, enabling effective conditions based maintenance platform. The system also communicates with the maintenance shops in real time allowing for efficient fault diagnostics and work scheduling.
Completely digital, the Locomotive Ultra-High Definition LDVR4K system delivers the clearest, highest quality video and optimal network performance, but made for the rigors of the locomotive environment. Supporting PoE megapixel and analog cameras, the LDVR4K, Ultra-High-Definition IP System provides the most user-friendly and technologically advanced solution for video surveillance in any locomotive application.
Railhead is offering our fuel sensor to provide fuel level data to the remote monitoring system for display in the back office. The Fuel Sensor utilizes a single cable installation; only need to connect one cable to the Rail Router which provides data and power. The fuel volume level will then be recorded directly to the hard drive and can also be utilized for business rules.
The fuel sensor can be mounted easily on a wide variety of fuel tanks. No cutting, welding or machining of the tank is required. This minimizes the amount of installation time required for mounting the sensor on the tank.
Railhead’s High Definition rear facing camera is utilized to capture activities on the back of the locomotive, capturing the right of way, incidents and railroad signal aspects in the rear view. This view has proven valuable in the past for risk management departments everywhere in capturing rear view incidents in addition to the forward-facing camera, enabling accident investigators, claims and legal department to see a more detailed view of the incident.
