Advanced Interface Module (AIM)

Railhead Vision Systems’ AIM (Advanced Interface Module) provides an interface with on-board locomotive systems and digital video recorders. The AIM supports communications through J1939, Ethernet and/or serial communications and can perform translations to support interconnection with multiple on-board systems. The AIM is capable of sending and receiving data such as: time and date information, locomotive performance data, engine data, GPS location information, LDVR health data, event recorder data, accelerometer, and more.
